The Brooklyn Public Library had an identity problem. They were perceived by many to be a division of the New York Public Library system. Working as senior designer/project manager with a NYC design firm, I developed a new identity for the library, which utilized the signatures of authors who were either born in, lived in, or wrote about Brooklyn, highlighting Brooklyn's rich literary heritage. This project also included design of a complete interior and exterior signage program for its 60+ branches.
